Different Types of Dog Collars

So, in order to make that special relationship between you and your dog, you need to train him in and out of your house. Taking your dog for a walk can be a good bonding for the both of you but it requires proper training for your dog because he might too aggressive. In times that your dog’s emotion is out of control or in any unwanted behavior, you will be needing a tool that could help you with the situation, and that tool is a dog collar or dog training collar.

                What is dog training collar? It is a material that you can use for controlling a dog manually, as they provide a handle for grabbing. A dog training collar is put around your dog’s neck to have a full control on him; often it is juxtaposed with leash. You can also use dog collars for identification or for fashion purposes.
                There actually different types of dog training collars that you can choose from for dog. Let me list some for your benefit.

5.       Break-Away Collars - Also for everyday use, but has a distinctive safety aspect to keep your dog from choking. Nevertheless, you can still use it for walking on a leash. The collar will break away if the loop becomes caught on something and your dog pulls away.

6.       Head Collars - Head collars or halters slightly resemble muzzles, but they have a very different purpose. These halters act more like harnesses for the head and are intended to help train a dog to walk on a leash and heel.

Always keep in mind that these dog training collars cannot be used with 13 inches at the base, or weigh less than 18 lbs, or those dog with any breathing problems.
